Jurgen Klopp warned by police over his touchline behaviour

Jurgen Klopp has been told to calm down by police.

The excitable Liverpool manager was warned about his behaviour during Wednesday night's 1-0 win away to Sunderland by a police officer, according to The Guardian. Klopp was unhappy with a tackle by Jeremain Lens on Mamadou Sakho as the Dutch winger landed an awkward looking tackle on the Liverpool defender in the second half, receiving a yellow card. However, Klopp felt it should've been red and became involved in an touchline argument with Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce.Allardyce said Klopp used "foul and abusive language", and the Liverpool manager is a "soft German" if he thought the challenge merited a red card. The pair shook hands at the final whistle, but Klopp made no apologises about the dispute or his excitable manner. "I am not too sorry," the 48-year-old said. "Please, it was a foul.
