Jake Paul has claimed his fight with Hasim Rahman Jr is currently in doubt as his opponent is 'trying to renegotiate his current contract.'
Paul is fighting the professional boxer after his initial rescheduled fight with Tommy Fury was called off after the Briton was refused a Visa to enter the United States.
Fury had been offered the chance to fight the YouTuber-turned-boxer in the UK - with Paul offering him $500,000 to rearrange the fight - but the former Love Island contestant turned it down, saying he 'wouldn't get out of bed for $500,000.'

Hasim Rahman Jr was selected as Tommy Fury's replacement by Jake Paul
Rahman Jr agreed to be the Brit's replacement and fight the 25-year-old at Madison Square Garden on August 6, but there now appears to be a fresh obstacle in the way.

According to Paul, Rahman Jr has demanded the terms of the contract to be amended, however, the American believes that it is a sign of fear from his opponent.
"Hasim Rahman Jr, actually right now, is trying to renegotiate his contract," he revealed on the MMA Hour.
"So he signed a contract last week for 10 times more than he’s ever been paid for any one of his fights, and now — boom, fast-forward one week — he’s trying to renegotiate, he’s trying to suck more money out of the fight, he’s trying to do anything he can to claw and make the money, because I think he realises the consequences of what might happen.
"I think he’s actually scared to fight me. A lot of these guys are excited by the money at first, and then when it actually comes time to start training and getting into camp and doing all of these things, they all chicken out.
"So who knows if this fight is even going to happen at this point, because we’re not going to pay him more money. He’s not worth it. He has name but he doesn’t have a massive name. So it’s unfortunate, man."
'I came into it and literally saved the whole entire sport, basically single-handedly'
Paul added that should the proposed fight fall through, he won't find another opponent before then claiming that he 'saved' the sport of boxing with his emergence.
He said: "If Hasim pulls out, we just won’t do the event. I’m tired of switching opponents. There’s really no other names. We’ll have to reset, reschedule, and it’s too last-minute to switch out another opponent, the tickets and it creates so many complications for refunds and it’s just a f****** nightmare and a pain in the ass.
"This is why boxing was such a dying sport before I came into it and literally saved the whole entire sport, basically single-handedly, along with some other heavyweights and some lightweights, but mostly because of me boxing was saved, and I’m starting to realise what the problem was."
