Georges St-Pierre’s coach names two megafights that he would return for

It sounds like Georges St-Pierre is done with middleweight.

In 2017, Georges St-Pierre made his long-awaited return to the Octagon to become the fourth fighter to win titles in two UFC divisions. One month after joining Randy Couture, BJ Penn and Conor McGregor in the elite group, he vacated the belt. GSP cited health issues as his reason for turning down a unification fight against interim champion Robert Whittaker. The Australian fighter was promoted to undisputed champion and will defend the strap for the first time against former middleweight king Luke Rockhold in Perth. St-Pierre's colitis will keep him out of the Octagon for a while, with some people believing he will never return again. However, Tristar coach Firas Zahabi thinks that the Canadian great will come back, but only for the right opponent. Speaking to TSN over the weekend, Zahabi explained that St-Pierre would take care of his colitis before returning for the 'most interesting' megafight opportunity that's for the taking. Interestingly, one of the 'interesting' match-ups he mentioned was against a certain retired boxer.

“I think Georges is gonna get better, get back in the gym. He’s gonna feel his body out and see what he wants, what’s the most interesting, epic fight out there. Mayweather? McGregor? We need a mega-fight. Georges will come back for a big, exciting fight.”

Could we really see St-Pierre vs. Mayweather in the ring? Hopefully not.
