Clearly, Manchester United fans appreciated the irony in Liverpool's blistering start against Tottenham on Sunday afternoon.
On Wednesday night, they'd watched their own team surrender the lead to the same Spurs team after little over 10 seconds. With the exception of the couple of chances they created at the other end in the five minutes that followed Christian Eriksen's opener, United were outclassed at Wembley - Spurs eventually winning 2-0 thanks to a Phil Jones own goal.
After the defeat, few United fans had any complaints... at least not until they watched the opening stages of Spurs' game at Anfield.
Mo Salah capitalised on some slack defending from Mauricio Pochettino's side to give the home side an early lead, who dominated the opening stages of the game.
Having handed out a lesson to Jose Mourinho's side only a matter of days ago, United fans were quick to point out the contrast in Spurs' performance during the early minutes at Anfield.
