Jurgen Klopp confirms Mo Salah is ‘not allowed to play’ against Barcelona

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Mohamed Salah will not feature for Liverpool in their second leg Champions League semi-final tie against Barcelona.
Salah was substituted during Liverpool's 3-2 victory over Newcastle United on Saturday evening, after suffering a head injury.
Jurgen Klopp said that therefore he would not be allowed to play against the Spanish giants.

"He feels OK, but it is not good enough from a medical point of view, that’s all. He is desperate and everything, but we cannot do it. That’s it."

Liverpool face an uphill task, have lost 3-0 to Barcelona in Spain, thanks to two goals from Lionel Messi, and one from Luis Suarez. "The approach? We try to win the game, I thought that makes sense," continued Klopp. "We try to win the game and if the result we have in a specific moment gives us an opportunity to go to the next round, I think we should try.
