Well then it's finally here... the World Cup final.
Argentina and France are the two sides who will face off against each other for the biggest prize in football and attempt to capture the hearts of their respective nations.
This could well be Lionel Messi's last chance to win the World Cup and finally settle the debate around whether he is the greatest player of all time or not.
France meanwhile are looking to become the first country since Brazil in 1962 to win back-to-back World Cups and defend their crown.
Both sides comfortably advanced to the final after beating Croatia and Morocco respectively and as well as team accolades, personal ones such as the golden boot can also be resolved.
Messi, Kylian Mbappé, Olivier Giroud and Julian Alvarez are all in contention to win the prize so at the moment.
