It's safe to say Gameweek 24 was one to forget. Chelsea getting battered. Liverpool dropping points at home. Manchester City losing to Newcastle, Manchester United only managing a point against Burnley. Nothing followed the script, but that is what is so great about the Premier League, isn't it? Even when there is a clear divide between the big six and the rest, these upsets still happen, occasionally all at the same time. And that is also what makes Fantasy Premier League so difficult. Looking ahead to Gameweek 25, we'll all be hoping for some more predictable results. It's worth bearing in mind that this is a double gameweek for Manchester City and Everton, after City's progression in the FA Cup meant the fixture had to be rearranged. 1. Gylfi Sigurdsson - Everton, £7.4m Or, as Kevin Phillips likes to call him, Siluf Gidjurdsson. Anyway, for the Everton playmaker, it's a double gameweek, the first match coming against Wolves, and the second against Manchester City, both at Goodison Park. At home, Sigurdsson's total of 36 shots is second only to the 45 of Paul Pogba (£8.7m) among FPL midfielders. 2. Andros Townsend - Crystal Palace, £5.8m Townsend is one of the best value for money midfielders in the world of FPL, with 89 points this season. Crystal Palace face Fulham this weekend, who famously have the worst defensive record in the league. The Eagles will also be without star player Wilfried Zaha after his red card against Southampton at the weekend, so expect Palace's attacks to go through Townsend, and him to shoot from distance as much as possible. 3. Gabriel Jesus - Manchester City, £10.1m Pep Guardiola will almost certainly rotate his team quite heavily over the course of this gameweek, which can be difficult to predict. But you'd expect Gabriel Jesus to play at least one of their games, whether it's against Arsenal on Sunday or Everton on Wednesday. Either game should provide him with ample chances to score, as the Gunners suffer an injury crisis and Everton continue to struggle plugging the gaps in their leaky defence. 4. Sadio Mané - Liverpool, £9.5m Monday Night Football sees Liverpool travel south to the London Stadium to take on a West Ham side who are coming off the back of two defeats - against Wolves and AFC Wimbledon. Mané is in hot form at the moment, with two goals in his last two Premier League games, and should make that three in three as he prepares to twist and turn Pablo Zabaleta into oblivion. 5. Heung-min Son - Tottenham, £8.6m He's back, and he's scoring already. Having missed three matches - only one in the league - Spurs' Korean killer returned from international duty, making an instant impact against Watford, scoring the winner in a 2-1 victory. With Harry Kane and Dele Alli both out injured for the next month at least, Son will be Tottenham's main goal threat over the next few weeks.
