Even the fire brigade are lining up to get their kick in at Stuart Lancaster's men.

England were banished to play out their final World Cup game with no meaning to it and with a flat enough crowd watching on in Manchester for the host nation's last involvement. And, although it has been a routine enough outing against Uruguay, the London Fire Brigade used England's miseries and the gloom around the country to promote their own safety awareness message. Good craic and good sense. https://twitter.com/LondonFire/status/652935925421469696?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Of course, this being Twitter, it obviously wasn't received with unanimous applause. When is it ever? And some fans got a little sensitive. https://twitter.com/UnitedWebGenius/status/652936377881989120?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Unless of course they were just offended by the fire brigade's presumption that some people can't drink and cook... Thankfully, although some sympathised with England, they still completely agreed. https://twitter.com/ShavedM/status/652937597707268096?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Then, even as England hammered more and more past the South Americans, the Twitter account came back for another zinger. https://twitter.com/LondonFire/status/652942945348386816?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Thanks to Thomas Curran for sending this our way.
