Dele Alli will miss the rest of the Premier League season after accepting the FA's charge of violent conduct.

The PFA Young Player of the Year was charged after appearing to punch West Brom's Claudio Yacob in the stomach during the sides' 1-1 draw on Monday night. The incident went unpunished during the game, but Alli was charged the next day. Alli will now miss the final three games of the season, as Tottenham attempt an increasingly unlikely chase of Leicester's seven-point lead. https://twitter.com/dele_alli/status/725719837666844673 The England international - who has scored an impressive 10 goals this season - has been a key part of the Spurs team this season, his debut year in the Premier League having signed from MK Dons last year. Without Alli, Spurs now runt the risk of being pipped for second place by either Arsenal or Manchester City, who both trail Mauricio Pochettino's men by just five points. The three-match ban means Alli will play no further part in the Premier League this season, but it does not effect his availability for this summer's Euro 2016 tournament.
