The recent past has seen a whole lot of Middle Eastern investment in football.

New owners from the gulf have revitalised plenty of clubs, taking over at the likes of Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Bristol Rovers. Wait, what? New club president Wael Al Qadi, a member of the Jordanian FA, has been making all the right noises so far.
