The recent past has seen a whole lot of Middle Eastern investment in football.

New owners from the gulf have revitalised plenty of clubs, taking over at the likes of Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Bristol Rovers. Wait, what? The League 2 club, who only got promoted from non-league football last season, have confirmed the Jordanian Al Qadi family are their new owners. https://twitter.com/Official_BRFC/status/700674176605102080 Presumably the Al Qadis were swayed by the top talent on offer, such as Liam Lawrence and Jake Gosling the Clifton Suspension Bridge the big Tesco that fetching blue and white pattern on Rovers shirts. New club president Wael Al Qadi, a member of the Jordanian FA, has been making all the right noises so far.
