Kash Ali was disqualified and faces a lengthy ban from boxing
Birmingham boxer Kash Ali faces a lengthy ban from boxing after being disqualified for biting David Price during their heavyweight contest in Liverpool on Saturday.
The incident occurred in the fifth round, with Ali, 27, forcing his opponent to the canvas after Price had laded a stinging shot. Ali then sunk his teeth into his torso as Price looked on in disbelief.
Ali was disqualified and left the arena being showered with drinks thrown by fans in the crowd.
He lost his fee for the match, and Price later revealed that he had turned down the offer of a rematch, saying: "I don't want to share the ring with an animal like that."

After the bout, boxer and pundit for the night Tony Bellew called for Ali to be banned, saying that Ali "shouldn't be allowed back in a boxing ring again".
"He is a disgrace for what he's done," added Bellew. "Biting a man on the floor? There's not many things lower."
