The Cherries had their say...

Arsenal are Premier League champions, and it's all thanks to south coast outfit Bournemouth.

Andoni Iraola's side secured a hard fought, and well deserved, 1-1 draw at the Vitality Satdium on Tuesday to make it mathematically impossible for Pep Guardiola's side to catch up with the Gunners.

The clash began brightly for Bournemouth, and their temporary group of north London-based supporters, as Kroupi Jr opened the scoring in the 41st minute with a beautiful curling effort.

It was the French teenager's 13th goal in his debut season in English football, and means he has now scored against all of the top three in the division this season.

Although Erling Haaland did manage to chip in with an equaliser in added time, this would only be a consolation strike for the Citizens, who could not find that crucial winner.

Alongside supporting Arsenal's claim to the title, the draw was of massive significance for the Cherries too, as it guaranteed Bournemouth will play in European competition next season.

As a result, jubilant celebrations engrossed the Vitality Stadium, and that ecstatic sentiment appears to have been carried through by the club's social media team, who aimed a subtle post in the direction of Man City.

Posting a graphic with the full-time score, the Cherries captioned the picture with the words: "A point on the board and we know what that means..."

What it meant of course, was that Bournemouth have handed the Premier League title to Arsenal, and Man City's expense.
