Remember the good ol' times, Gooners?

Remember the days when the phrase "Wenger Out" would have been considered so ridiculous that ears in the red part of London wouldn't even be able to register it? Remember when an Arsenal team solidified their place in the annals in football history by going unbeaten for the entire 2003/04 Premier League season? That was a very cheery time to be an Arsenal fan, the era in which club legends Robert Pires and Freddie Ljungberg were in their pomp. For 90 minutes on Saturday, Gooners got to relive these wonderful days as a team of legendary Arsenal players took on AC Milan Glorie at the Emirates, with proceeds from the friendly encounter going towards the Arsenal Foundation. https://twitter.com/KevBeirne/status/772087833314074624 Arsenal ran out 4-2 winners on the day, with Nwankwo Kanu bagging a hat-trick for the Gunners and Christian Vieri scoring a brace for the Italians. However, the highlight of the match for many Gooners was seeing a short-haired Robert Pires get on the end of Freddie Ljungberg's perfectly-placed cross to score the home side's fourth and final goal. https://twitter.com/ArsenalTerje/status/772085047067279361 The goal brought back floods of warm and fuzzy memories for the Arsenal faithful who witnessed it as it brought them on a welcome trip down memory lane. https://twitter.com/20gallantoarbi/status/772086820695740421 https://twitter.com/HarpsAFC/status/772086731873120257 https://twitter.com/chrisngwodo/status/772086646955208708 https://twitter.com/MustoSteven/status/772086133463318528 https://twitter.com/Abba_Fanda/status/772085789152903168 Read more from SportsJOE: Joe.co.uk Snapchat
