Amir Khan has insisted that he and his wife are indeed splitting up.

Khan and partner Faryal Makhdoom had a very public falling-out last month, when the British boxer accused Makhdoom of moving on to Anthony Joshua in a furious back-and-forth on Twitter. Joshua provided the below hilarious response and Khan subsequently apologised to 'AJ' for what turned out to be a misunderstanding but he and his wife maintained that they were still following through with divorce proceedings. https://twitter.com/anthonyfjoshua/status/893480501675249664?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.joe.co.uk%2Fsport%2Fanthony-joshua-accepts-amir-khans-apology-after-last-weeks-bizarre-accusation-137531 That is, until Wednesday, when Faryal Makhdoom hinted that there might be hope for the marriage yet. She took to Twitter to suggest that she and Khan had "decided that it is time to put our differences behind us, and start afresh," and many followers thus believed that the split was off. But just over 24 hours later, Khan responded with an attempt to clear matters up. The former unified light-welterweight world champion has left absolutely no doubt about his intentions as he made it abundantly clear that the couple were indeed going their separate ways. "Unfortunately it didn’t work out between Me and Faryal and we are still going ahead with the divorce. We are in good talking terms," Khan wrote. Khan and Makhdoom have been married for four years and have a three-year-old daughter together, while they are expecting another child.
