Don't mess with Shearer.

Alan Shearer, Weetabix, Ebola, and a Sunderland fan were the ingredients for a bizarre exchange on social media. Newcastle United legend Shearer offered to send an envelope of Ebola to a Sunderland fan who abused him on Twitter. Yes, you read that correctly. The Premier League's record goalscorer was conducting a competition with a bookmaker, giving away a signed England shirt. However, a Sunderland fan on Twitter said he'd "rather get an envelope full of Ebola in the post than a shirt signed by him", before comparing Shearer unfavourably to a breakfast cereal.shearer ebola2 To which Shearer replied, rather ominously, "Send me your address and I'm sure I can arrange that." https://twitter.com/alanshearer/status/738351865637785600 The Twitter user deleted his tweet, but Shearer's offer seemingly still stands as he hasn't removed his tweet. The Match of the Day pundit has a history of arriving on fan's doorsteps uninvited, so the Sunderland troll is probably wise to have gone underground, and should be more careful in the future before calling someone a "Weetabix headed c***." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWT6hxwjoV8
