Artist Dan Leydon combines the old, the new and the otherworldly with these phenomenal images of 15 footballing (and one Game of Thrones) icons. As you click through the images you'll see Dan's inspiration for each piece in his own words. The attention to detail is remarkable, particularly when it comes to images of Eric Cantona, Carlos Valderrama and Arsenal's Invincibles of 2003/2004. Not that we're playing favourites.
