They're an unlikely combination
When you think of Big Narstie, you don't necessarily picture him alongside a group of Russian folk musicians, but that may well change now. While Narstie is quite accustomed to spitting bars of the more traditional variety, this latest tune is a crossover so ambitious it would make Hollywood producers take notice. Taking on 888sport's challenge to go from Rapper To Reporter during this summer's football festivities, the MC decides he needs to learn more about Russian culture in a bid to go further in his pursuit. Naturally, he has focused on Russian music and in particular, traditional folk music and if this week's episode is anything to go by, he may well have a future in Russian music. Rapping over the garmoshka, Narstie provides us with a stunning little verse which focuses on football, Russian language and, erm, Vladimir Putin.
