The UK is forecast to see an "above average" temperature over summer with a very high likelihood of peaking in the Met Office's hottest temperature category. Last year saw record-breaking summer temperatures, with  new all time high set in Faversham, Kent of 35.8C. It's possible this year could be even hotter, meteorologists have said. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHy78IzVDi0 The Met Office three-month forecast said: "For May-July, above-average temperatures are more likely than below-average. "The probability the UK average temperature will fall into the warmest of our five categories is 45-50 per cent. The coldest of our five categories is five per cent. "Long-range prediction systems show a consistent increase in the likelihood of high pressure, associated with warmer-than-average conditions."
