A boy, 14, has been arrested by police on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, while a 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.

The 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm in connection with a double stabbing at an Essex holiday park.

Following reports of a disturbance, police officers arrived at St Osyth Holiday Park on Beach Road, St Osyth, just after midnight on Monday, May 4.

Police said that two people sustained stab wounds during the incident, with one victim requiring hospital treatment.

However, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, it has been reported.

“Today detectives are continuing to investigate the incident and would like to hear from anyone who has not yet spoken to us who may be a witness”, an Essex Police spokesman said.
