Thousands gather in Soho to show solidarity with victims of the Orlando Massarce

Thousands of people gathered in Soho's Old Compton street in London to show solidarity with victims of the Orlando shooting.

The memorial held in London was just one of the vigils held in major cities to pay tribute to those caught in the tragic murders at on Sunday. A minute-long silence was held in London, Paris, Milan as thousands of people around the world remembered the 49 killed and 53 injured after a lone gunman opened fired in a gay nightclub during Pride weekend in Orlando. Organisers rang bells and let of 49 balloons to symbolise the fallen as thousands of people showed solidarity with the LGBT+ community.

Politicians including Jeremy Corbyn, Sadiq Khan, Ed Miliband, Lord Collins and Crispin Blunt were seen among the crowd to pay their respects as people turned out with rainbow flags and joined in with a choir to sing Simon & Garfunkel's 'Bridge Over Troubled Water'. https://twitter.com/SadiqKhan/status/742431258962219008 Minute-long silences were also held during vigils in Manchester, Paris, Barcelona and Seoul as the world continues to grieve following the mass shooting.
