The Panama Papers controversy continues to rattle the international establishment, implicating several world leaders in an offshore savings accounts scandal.

One of the first scalps claimed by the crisis has been that of Icelandic prime minister Sigmundur Gunnlaugsson, who resigned this evening after widespread protests. Rather wonderfully, the famous "Down With This Sort Of Thing" placard from Father Ted made an appearance at the demonstrations. https://twitter.com/hjpotel/status/717389613023805440 However, there was nobody to join him with a "Careful now" sign, but they got the job done all the same.
