Homenews

There's some pretty grimy jobs around - but this one really takes the cake...

Some poor chaps have had to tackle a 10-tonne 'fatberg' from the sewers underneath one of London's poshest enclaves. What exactly have the people of Chelsea been flushing down their toilets? For those unfamiliar with the term, a fatberg is literally a giant blob of disgusting, congealed fat, hair, sh*t, Arsenal season-tickets, tampons and any other junk that goes down the drains. No not him... This monstrosity of turgid waste (again, not him) weighed the same as two full-grown African elephants. It was so big that it caused £400,000 worth of damage to the sewer system in London. We don't even want to know how the hell they got rid of that thing... (Image: BBC YouTube)
