Police have urged people to travel only 'if it is absolutely essential'

A major incident has been declared after a double-decker bus overturned in Somerset on Tuesday. Update: 70 people on board double-decker bus that 'rolled over' in major incident in Somerset Avon and Somerset Police said officers were called around 6am to the A39, Quantock Road, in Bridgewater. A "significant number" of police, fire and ambulance crews are at the scene. The incident also involved a motorcyclist. No casualties have been confirmed as of yet. The force urged people to travel only "if it is absolutely essential".
