The former Home and Away actor shared an update with fans on social media.

Johnny Ruffo, who played Chris on the soap for three years, is currently recovering from surgery after doctors found a brain tumour. The 29-year-old shared a picture on Instagram with an update for fans, saying: “Some things in life really put things into perspective, hoping for a positive result, keep me in your thoughts.”

He later shared a snap with his family, thanking fans for their support. “Thank you to everyone for all the support over the last week.

The actor was admitted to hospital with a migraine and was then told he would need emergency surgery to remove a brain tumour.
