With a climate of uncertainty across Europe in the wake of the Paris attacks, the British government has offered some important advice.

A new document has been released, detailing the recommended procedure in case of a "firearms or weapons attack", and the advice is to escape - rather than to hide - if you can identify a safe route out. Prime Minister David Cameron recently revealed that seven potential terrorist attacks have been prevented in the UK in the last six months.
