Fake Instagram stories designed by Coleen Rooney to "sting" Rebekah Vardy have been revealed as part of the ongoing Wagatha Christie trial. In an attempt to prove her suspicions - believing that Vardy, 40, was leaking information to the press - Coleen Rooney reportedly carried out a month-long "sting operation." The 36-year-old, who has been married to former footballer Wayne Rooney since 2008, set up her stories so only Vardy could view them. Fake stories included travelling to Mexico for a "gender selection" procedure, a plan to return to TV and the basement flooding in her new home. Naturally, once the stories appeared in the press, Rooney blamed Vardy. In the now-iconic social media post, Rooney wrote: "For a few years now someone who I trusted to follow me on my personal Instagram account has been consistently informing The S*n newspaper of my private posts and stories. "There has been so much information given to them about me, my friends and my family - all without my permission or knowledge. After a long time of trying to figure out who it could be, for various reasons, I had a suspicion." While the post continued to detail her findings, the most legendary moment came right at the end. She wrote: "Now I know for certain which account / individual it's comes from. I have saved and screenshotted all the original stories which clearly show just one person has viewed them. It’s……….
