Homenews

From what we can gather, Danny Dyer and the family of reality TV star and occasional scorer of Roberto Carlos-channelling wonder goals in charity football matches, Mark Wright, are not absolute best mates.

Dyer got caught up in a Twitter spat with Wright's brother and professional footballer, Josh, after the EastEnders actor tweeted what looked very much like a dig at the former TOWIE star. https://twitter.com/MrDDyer/status/765495412522414080 In case you're wondering, Mark Wright presents a show on Heart FM and is the promotional face of Oykos yoghurt. Subtlety never has been Danny Dyer's specialism. This didn't go unnoticed by Josh, who suggested that Dyer's animosity towards his brother was due to the fact that he'd given him 'a slap' at a charity football match. Josh, who plays in midfield for League One club Gillingham, even told the soap star to 'get over it you melt'. https://twitter.com/Joshwright4/status/765581076429467648 Millwall v Blackpool - npower Championship Nobody calls Danny Dyer a melt, except possibly Danny Dyer when he loses his car keys or forgets to set his alarm for a West Ham early kickoff, so his response was predictably strong-worded. As Dyer recounted it, the 'slap' happened at a charity event for sick children. He added that his 'bird hits harder', and shortly after branded Wright a 'disgrace'. https://twitter.com/MrDDyer/status/765582998196674561?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Wright disagreed, and said his brother had been 'protecting himself' after the actor had approached his brother and 'pushed him into a corner'. https://twitter.com/Joshwright4/status/765587809839247360 Dyer hit back again and the heated exchange ended with him assuring followers that 'we all know what happened'. https://twitter.com/MrDDyer/status/765592104194170885 The London Evening Standard were later declined a comment from Mark Wright's representatives. thumbnail_SNAPCHATUK
