'The way that he has talked about women, is unconscionable to me'
Chelsea Clinton has revealed that after years of being a fan of Kanye West, she has finally removed his music from her library over his treatment of ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
The 45-year-0ld rapper and the reality TV star officially split last year in what spurred a series of problematic social media posts from West, most of which focused on Kardashian's new beaux, SNL's Pete Davidson. That relationship has also ended, and Davidson is now receiving therapy for the abuse he suffered.
But West's behaviour, which saw him mockingly bury a fake Davidson alive, has driven away some fans. Most notably, the daughter of former US President Bill Clinton and Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Sitting down with Entertainment Weekly, the 42-year-old writer said her favourite artists include "a lot of Jay-Z", some "old school" Beyoncé, and formerly West.
"I've had to let go of Kanye, because it's just, I can't," she explained. "Just the way that he has treated Kim Kardashian, the way that he has talked about women, is unconscionable to me," she explained. "That was some of my favorite running music. And I have removed it from my music library."
Chelsea and Hillary grew closer to Kardashian earlier this year thanks to their AppleTV+ docuseries, Gutsy. The show is loosely based on the mother-daughter 2019 bestseller and sees the duo interview remarkable women with interesting stories.
A trailer released on Tuesday shows Kardashian passionately talking about criminal justice reform.

"To throw someone's life away when people really do make changes, I just believe in second chances," she said.
The women then underwent a legal quiz, with Kardashian beating Hillary for the top spot despite her years as a law firm partner. Kardashian is currently studying for her bar exam.
