Yes, it will keep you up all night at Creamfields and make you love even the worst house music, but it can also help people staring down the barrel of terminal illness, doctors say. While it's a controlled Class-A drug in Britain, medical researchers in the USA are being given special permission to test pure MDMA on people who are dying. It sounds a bit mad, but the treatment will be used alongside psychotherapy to help patients with a life expectancy of nine months.
