Mumford & Sons ain't playing

Announcing their Delta Tour in support of a new album sharing the same name, Mumford & Sons have a groundbreaking new show ready to deliver to their fans. An incredible 800,000 tickets go on sale on Friday October 12th for the 60 date world tour. The band’s biggest tour since forming 10 years ago, they’ll perform the show on a stage that runs right across the middle of the room. Kicking off in Dublin at the 3 Arena on November 16th, the opening date will also double as an album launch party. The tour will then end in Stockholm at the Ericsson Globe Arena on May 21st. The six month run routes the band up and down the UK, followed by a brief stop in the U.S. and Canada ahead of Christmas, before then seeing them head over to Australia and New Zealand. The band will then fly back to the U.S. for a more substantial run of shows, concluding with 16 dates across Europe. Including dates at London's O2 Arena (Nov 29th) and their Madison Square Garden debut in New York (Dec 10th), support in the UK and U.S. comes from Maggie Rogers while Michael Kiwanuka will replace Maggie for the Australia dates. https://youtu.be/qHsEwQvnGOE The album that the tour is in support of, Delta arrives November 16th through Gentlemen of the Road/Island Records. According to the press release:
"Introduced by the frenetic, persistent rhythms of first single 'Guiding Light', it’s a wildly experimental record that effortlessly marries the intimacy and jubilance of the band’s first two records, with the scope and stadium-sized dynamics of 2015’s Wilder Mind. It was produced by Paul Epworth in London."
