On his latest single, "Promises", he teams up with multi-platinum selling, four-time GRAMMY Award winner Sam Smith.
Written by Calvin Harris, Sam Smith, and the incredibly talented Jessie Reyez, the single was released today alongside a lyric video on Youtube.
"Promises" follows the massive success of Calvin Harris' recent summer anthem, "One Kiss" with Dua Lipa, which was also written with Jessie Reyez and has garnered over 830 million total streams to date. Upon release, "One Kiss" hit #1 on the singles chart in multiple countries across the globe and was #1 on the UK chart for eight consecutive weeks.
This past Tuesday, August 14th, Calvin played the first of his three-date residency in Ibiza at Pacha’s newest party Tuesdays on Mars - his next parties at Pacha will be on August 21st and 28th.
Back in May Calvin Harris was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles accompanied by his girlfriend, model Aarika Wolf, who was behind the wheel of the Range Rover the couple were in at the time. They collided with another vehicle turning into a Beverly Hills driveway but thankfully left the scene unscathed.
Sam Smith is currently on his global headline tour in support of his chart-topping, acclaimed sophomore album The Thrill Of It All.
