Video: Australian breaks world record with unreal 126m basketball shot

When you see this ambitious Aussie team try for a basketball-based world record, you'll finally appreciate the meaning of the term 'long shot'.
The group, who call themselves 'How Ridiculous', travelled to the top of the vertigo-inducing Gordon Dam in Tasmania to throw a basketball into a hoop some 126 metres below. We're not sure how they decided which team member would be tasked with the throw itself, but he seems to chuck the ball almost nonchalantly, as if sending a scrap of paper towards an office bin.
