Arachnophobes, look away now.
If your natural instinct when you see a spider is to step on it and stop it in its tracks, then this video from Australia might make you think again.
This guy used a broom rather than his foot to try and put the wolf spider out of its misery and was surprisingly calm when a multitude of spider babies emerged on impact.

Considering that they're more used to creepy crawlies in Australia, his reaction is understandable, but we'd like to think we would have dealt with the situation in the same way.
