Jeremy Clarkson has been posting the same ‘I failed my A level results’ tweet for the last three years

Every year, we see the same old things on A Level results day.

First of all, we're told all about how much easier they were this year and how a record number of university places have been secured as a result. Then, we hear all about those people that made a success of their lives despite having a string of impressive A Level grades to their name... y'know: Richard Branson, Simon Cowell, etcetera, etcetera. Jeremy Clarkson counts as one of those people. The former Top Gear host has also made something of a tradition of reminding us of his shortcomings at A Level every time results day rolls around. A couple of years ago, he reminded us that his C and two Us didn't stop him from owning a nice car. A year later, he was reminding everyone that his A Levels hadn't stopped him from spending his summer in a villa in St Tropez. It seemed inevitable that Clarkson would offer a similar tweet for the class of 2016 and, sure enough, he didn't disappoint.
