We all know the old gag about coaxing a bear out of hiding with a certain cheese*, but it seems the approach also works for exiled Latin American politicians.

Fidel Castro isn't seen out in public all that often these days, but the former Cuban leader met with cheese makers in a rare public appearance. https://twitter.com/Caroleillo/status/617337085205221376 The latest appearance was the 88-year-old's first for several months, and while it may have been brie-f, we're sure he didn't give edam. There were reports that he was meeting with Swiss dignitaries, but that story turned out to be full of holes. JOE is yet to establish whether Castro took part in a queso and answer session afterwards.   *it's camembert. 'Come on, bear' - geddit?
