Cristiano Ronaldo has been announced as the cover star for FIFA 19. He was also on the cover for FIFA 18. The official FIFA Twitter account tweeted an image of the Real Madrid striker, alongside a link to a YouTube livestream. https://twitter.com/EASPORTSFIFA/status/1004739806612471813 The stream is currently inactive, but details of the game will be announced on June 9th, at the EA Play Live Press Conference. Other EA titles to be featured at EA Play include Battlefield 5 and Anthem. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qw16v3oGXso Pro Evolution Soccer, FIFA’s long-time rival, recently announced its 2019 update. PES 2019 will feature Barcelona’s Philippe Coutinho will be that game’s cover star, and David Beckham will also be playable. PES has however recently lost the Champions League licence, and rumours have been spreading that it has been snapped up by EA Sports.
