Yorkshire puddings are great, right? On a Sunday, in a nice proper pub, with roast beef, and loads of gravy. Or maybe at your gran's house. They are what makes Britain great. Now the Americans have discovered them, and are ruining them. The New York Times tweeted this week about a "large, fluffy pancake" you can serve with jam or fruit. But they aren't fooling anyone.
