It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is one the longest running live-action sitcoms in American TV history.

And after 12 seasons, it's still one of the funniest. The Gang's exploits (and often exploitations) still make us laugh and gasp like no other show, but now it looks like there's another show on the way to tickle our fancy. According to Deadline, Fox have ordered a pilot for Cool Kids, a new show from the It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia boys, Charlie Day, Rob McElhenney and Glenn Howerton. The show centres around three friends in a retirement community whose status as top dogs is challenged by a newcomer. The show will be written by Charlie Day and Paul Fruchbom, and executive produced by Day, McElhenney, Howerton, Abbott and Nick Frenke. With It's Always Sunny currently on hiatus (and left on something of a cliffhanger) we're hungry for something to fill the void, and if Cool Kids turns out to be a smash, we don't mind waiting a bit longer for more It's Always Sunny. That said, we'd much prefer it to come sooner than later.
