House of the Dragon has finally hit UK screens, with fans treated to a sex scene featuring Matt Smith which will undoubtedly set the tone for the rest of the season.
The highly anticipated Game of Thrones prequel is here and, as predicted, features some of the hot and heavy content that Westeros is known for. The first episode aired last night at 2 am to coincide with the HBO Max release in the US. It's now available on Sky Atlantic.
The sex scene shows Smith's character Daemon Targaryen as he is caught with Sonoya Mizuno's Mysaria, and naturally, the internet lapped it up.
"Matt smith sex scene i choked on my taco," wrote one Twitter user.
Another said: "Matt smith really did that sex scene THAT way. wow so powerful of him."

"Only took 25 minutes for there to be a sex scene in House of the Dragon lmao," a third added.
The 39-year-old Northampton-born actor questioned the number of sex scenes earlier this month and told Rolling Stone: "You do find yourself asking, 'Do we need another sex scene?'

"And they're like, 'Yeah, we do.' I guess you have to ask yourself: 'What are you doing? Are you representing the books, or are you diluting the books to represent the time [we're living in]?' And I actually think it's your job to represent the books truthfully and honesty, as they were written."
House of Dragon will air every week on Sunday.
