Master Of None, the acclaimed Netflix comedy-drama created by and starring Aziz Ansari, is to return for a third season, Chortle reports.
It has been four years since the second season premiered on the streaming service, and it originally looked like that might have been it for the show.
"I don't know if we're going to do a season three. I wouldn't be surprised if I needed a long break before I could come back to it," Ansari told Vulture in 2017, when asked about producing more Master Of None.
"I've got to become a different guy before I write a third season, is my personal thought, I've got to get married or have a kid or something. I don't have anything else to say about being a young guy being single in New York eating food around town all the time."
Ansari has mostly stayed out of the spotlight in recent years, following allegations of sexual misconduct made in 2018.
The comedian made reference to the allegations and the fallout of the article in his 2019 Netflix stand-up special, Right Now.
Chortle reports that the third season will film - and presumably be set - in London. Production began in the British capital early last year, but was put on hold following the Covid-19 pandemic.
British actor Naomi Ackie, best known for appearing in the second season of The End of The Fucking World is reportedly set to join the cast.
Lena Waithe is also due to return as Denise, the friend of Ansari's Dev.
