"It's no Making a Murderer, it's better."

Unsolved murder, a missing person, rampant corruption and a possible cover-up in the Catholic hierarchy. If you're looking for something to watch this week then The Keepers on Netflix is highly recommended. The seven-part series concerns the tragic disappearance and death of Sister Cathy Cesnik after she went missing on Nov. 7, 1969. Two months later, her body was found in a field not far from her apartment. Nearly five decades later, the murder of the young nun and high school teacher remains unsolved. In “The Keepers”, documentarian Ryan White examines one of Baltimore’s most shocking, chilling and infuriating cold cases in recent memory as we learn all about the disappearance of Sister Cathy through the eyes of those who knew her best, her former students at Archbishop Keough High School. The L.A Times have remarked that "Netflix's new true-crime series, 'The Keepers,' is no 'Making a Murderer,' it's better" while the New York Times stated that it's a "fascinating and devastating experience." The series has just been released on Netflix and it has already deeply resonated with those who have watched it. https://twitter.com/jess1hickey/status/866056110318514176 https://twitter.com/sbstryker/status/866397077852504064 https://twitter.com/bverhoev/status/865632917321523200 https://twitter.com/t_ruggeri/status/865497289757835264 https://twitter.com/kenlipson/status/865595496294830081 https://twitter.com/bradgalriri/status/865934340747698176 https://twitter.com/ebonyday1/status/865665240838668288 https://twitter.com/RebeccaFoerster/status/866461656133521408 Here's the trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5spTZWx0WyM
