When it comes to meeting your idols, many say you shouldn’t do it because it can only end in disappointment. Well, that wasn’t the case for Tegan and Louise who met some of their favourite stars on the biggest day of their lives – their wedding day. Knowing about her wife-to-be’s deep love for the Netflix show, Orange is the New Black, Tegan decided to reach out to the folks at Netflix to see if they could organise a wedding surprise for her bride, Louise. And they didn’t hold back. Not one, not two, but THREE of the show’s stars made the trip to the couple’s wedding venue in Australia to surprise her and it was so sweet. Lea DeLaria (Boo), Danielle Brooks (Taystee) and Yael Stone (Morello) all arrived in their wedding finery to surprise the newlyweds and even took a moment to speak to the guests.

“As an Australian, we’ve waited a long time for this to happen,” Yael told the couple and their friends and family. “And we’re really, really proud that we can be here and celebrate you guys individually and celebrate this change across this beautiful country that needed to change. “This is a beautiful moment and thank you for sharing it with us.”
