The latest Obi-Wan Kenobi episode has confirmed an enormous fan theory regarding Darth Vader and one of his Inquisitors.
Obi-Wan Kenobi has seen a fair amount of controversy since the first episode aired on May 27, though arguably most of it comes from fans who can't look past their own ignorance and enjoy a genuinely enticing bit of TV.
Episode 5 picked up the pace, bringing the titular character, played by Ewan McGregor, face to face with Moses Ingram's Third Sister. Fans had called the sister, named Reva, arrogant in the introductory episodes, claiming that her character didn't really belong in the series.
But this week's episode brought Reva's motivations into the light, and in a tense standoff with Kenobi, the Jedi worked out why she is so desperate to capture him.
TW: Spoilers from here
You see, Reva was a Jedi youngling during Order 66, the great Jedi purge that allowed the Empire to take control. She watched as Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker cut down her friends. Pretty traumatising, right?
Reva escaped the purge by hiding amongst the dead bodies, which she detailed for Kenobi as a squad of Stormtroopers stood behind her. While the Jedi suggested taking on Vader together, Reva insisted that she "didn't need anyone" while also saying that Vader's rise was Kenobi's fault.
"Do you really want Anakin dead? Where were you while he was killing my friends? He was your padawan," she scathed.

The Jedi master was able to escape his former apprentice once more, having given Reva an opening to take him out. Shocker, it doesn't go very well.
Reva put up an admirable fight, but she was no match for the Sith Lord and was promptly skewered in the chest.
But the shocking moments did not stop there, and the Grand Inquisitor (Rupert Friend) was revealed to be alive after Reva stabbed him in episode 2. This reveal also ties up a plot hole his death created, as true fans know that Jedi Kanan Jarrus killed the Grand Inquisitor in the Star Wars: Rebels animated series.

In the final moments of the episode, the Empire hot on Kenobi's trail, Reva opens a message left behind by the heroes that allude to Luke Skywalker's presence on the desert planet of Tatooine.
While Reva's death could be assumed, perhaps she will survive and take revenge the only way she can- by attacking Vader's kids.
