Despite sequels of varying quality, Johnny Depp's beloved pirate is one of the most famous characters in recent cinematic history. For one brief moment, ignore the films because Captain Jack has a far more important role in people's lives.

As you may know, the swashbuckling movies were based on the famous theme park ride in Disneyland and Depp was more than happy to embrace the roots of the beloved franchise by performing as Captain Jack on the actual Pirates of the Caribbean ride.
