It's widely accepted that Game of Thrones is the most-watched TV series in the world right now, but Netflix believe they've produced the new top dog.

Despite HBO's premium title Game of Thrones claiming first place again in a recent survey of viewer numbers, Netflix chief Ted Sarandos argued that Narcos may in fact have been the bigger show in 2015. Speaking this week, he said: “We’re pleased to take the number two spot, but think it’s number one because they don’t measure all the devices." narcos Based on the life and crimes of notorious Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, Narcos has proved a smash hit since airing on the streaming service earlier this year, and follows other blockbuster Netflix titles such as House of Cards and Orange Is The New Black. With Master Of None, starring Aziz Ansari, also getting rave reviews, Sarandos has revealed that Netflix will launch another 31 original TV series in 2016. It looks like we'll be spending a lot of time on the couch. Again.
