‘Game Of Thrones’ looks set to have fewer episodes next season

Let's get Ramsay Bolton to change their minds.
There are plenty of incredible villains in Game Of Thrones that have incited rage, anger and utter hatred amongst fans. If we asked you to think about the most heinous act that was ever committed in Westeros, the chances are that you'd spend longer than the time it's taking Daenerys' to cross the Narrow Sea. We've seen Joffrey order the decapitation of Ned Stark, Walder Frey/Roose Bolton organise the happiest wedding of all time, and Ramsay Bolton, well, being Ramsay Bolton. But these villains pale in comparison to the executives that think it's acceptable to reduce the amount of episodes in the forthcoming seasons of Game Of Thrones from 10 to seven.
We previously told you that this was a possibility, but we've finally been given an update from someone that has been instrumental in the sixth season.
Director Jack Bender was the man behind the lens for two memorable episodes, 'The Door' and 'Blood Of My Blood', so if anyone is privy to what the future has in store, then it's him.
Speaking with Vanity Fair, the director seems to have confirmed our worst fears. When asked if he would be directing an episode next season, he replied:
“I don’t know the answer to that. They’re only doing seven [episodes], and they’ve got their regulars who have done it forever. I know that I had a wonderful experience doing the show and I know that Dan and David are thrilled with the shows… I haven’t been asked yet and I also don’t know what their schedule is going to be. But under the best of circumstances, schedule and everything, I had a great experience doing the show. If available and they wanted me to, I would love to do that.”How does this make us feel?
