Francis Bourgeois has landed his own series

Francis will be joined by Premier League star Jesse Lingard as well as Love Island star Chloe Burrows

Francis Bourgeois interest in trains is set to go mainstream, with the social media star getting his own TV show - taking celebrities on trainspotting missions. The unlikely celebrity who got famous during covid with TikTok train videos, before quitting his job to focus on trainspotting full- time in October 2o21, will be joined by stars from the world of sport, comedy, music, and beyond for the Channel 4 digital show Trainspotting with Francis Bourgeois. The show, which has five episodes, will see Francis show the stars the trainspotting ropes, escorting them on rail journeys around the UK. He will, no doubt, teach them about all things trains, like how to tell the different types and classes of locomotives passing by and attempting to get some "tones" out of the drivers. Francis will be joined by Premier League star Jesse Lingard as well as Love Island star Chloe Burrows, musician AJ Tracey – live and direct – comedian Aisling Bea, and Eurovision star Sam Ryder. Trainspotting with Francis Bourgeois, produced by Untold Studios, will be going live on Channel 4’s YouTube page, with shorter versions released on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok from October 19. Francis said the show has been an "absolute whirlwind," Variety reported. He added to the publisher: “When I started making videos about my hobby I never thought anything like this would happen. "It’s been totally surreal. Celebrities I’ve seen on TV, stages and sports stadiums, I’ve been able to take into my domain to show them how trains and all things mechanical engineering make me feel, hopefully making them feel something good too! Showcasing my passion in a way I have never been able to before, has been so liberating. Showing the ins and outs that make railway enthusiasm such a rollercoaster. I cannot wait to show you all!” Commissioner Charlie Hyland said: “We’re absolutely delighted to announce the series and to have taken such incredible guests on their first Trainspotting adventure!
