The teaser trailer for Netflix's upcoming Marilyn Monroe biopic has been released and fans are already obsessing over the streaming platform's first-ever adult-rated movie.
Blonde, starring No Time to Die's Ana de Armas, caused a stir earlier this year after it was revealed that the biopic would be Netflix's first NC-17 rated feature - meaning it's not suitable for viewers under the age of 17.
Director Andrew Dominik has previously said he understands the rating, given the flick's explicit sexual content.
The trailer opens with a black and white shot, with Monroe sobbing at a dressing room table.
"Please come, don't abandon me," she cries.

Teaser trailers often give audiences their first glimpse at the vibe of a film - and by the looks of it, this one will be drenched in heartbreak and drama. "Diamonds are a girl's best friend" plays in the background as more black and white shots slowly move into colour sequences.
Monroe's iconic pink dress is also featured.

Reacting to the one-minute sneak peek, one fan exclaimed: "This movie is going to change who i am as a person."
"Okayyy Ana!! I was almost afraid they were gonna shelve it," another said.
The film will be released on Netflix on August 23 and is based on the bestselling novel by Joyce Carol Oates. The film will also star Adrien Brody, Sara Paxton, Bobby Cannavale and Julianne Nicholson.
According to the film's official description, it "boldly reimagines the complicated life of icon Marilyn Monroe. Blurring the lines of fact and fiction, the film artfully explores the tension between her public and private life."
