He's "starting to look like a GoldenEye character."

Before the recent NFL game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Baltimore Ravens at Wembley Stadium, 27 players from both sides took a knee during the rendition of Star Spangled Banner, the most at any professional game to date. Following the example that was set by former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who initially sat and then began kneeling during the American national anthem in protest of police brutality in the country, NFL stars are becoming far more politically active - a development that Donald Trump isn't best pleased with. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/911654184918880260 https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/911655987857281024 Given the socio-political importance that surrounds these demonstrations, Good Morning Britain decided that Steven Seagal was the best man to discuss the issue. Yes, that's right. THE Steven Seagal- the star of Under Siege, The Glimmer Man and the cinematic classic, Pistol Whipped. As you may know, the actor has now taken up Russian citizenship and lives in Russia. Seagal is also a close friend of Vladimir Putin and once referred to him as "one of the great living world leaders." https://twitter.com/piersmorgan/status/912949309120958469 Speaking via a satellite feed, he said “I believe in free speech, I believe that everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, but I don’t agree that they should hold the United States of America or the world hostage by taking a venue where people are tuning in to watch a football game and imposing their political views." He added: “I think it’s outrageous, I think it’s a joke, it’s disgusting. I respect the American flag. I myself have risked my life countless times for the American flag and I don’t understand or agree with this kind of behaviour. I think it’s an outrage.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i86M4zj_Kec The reaction to his appearance on Good Morning Britain was, erm...interesting. Here's hoping that Seagal's appearance will set a precedent because we're very much looking forward to hearing Dolph Lundgren's views on the escalating tension between North Korea and the USA. Make. It. Happen. https://twitter.com/schofey27/status/912951156216868864 https://twitter.com/Lord_Sugar/status/912940247440400385 https://twitter.com/danmcgrady/status/912952950397521920 https://twitter.com/jamesvmcmorrow/status/913037101163192321 https://twitter.com/WillJChristian/status/912975684393422848 https://twitter.com/simonARGH/status/913009167224459264 https://twitter.com/jooles100/status/912941540481388544 https://twitter.com/StottGeorge/status/912941651793981440 https://twitter.com/Lou_LouD/status/912954693181169664 https://twitter.com/joshryancarr/status/912960822489620480 We can't help but laugh. https://twitter.com/Donny_Jpeg/status/912988194093899776 https://twitter.com/TheRealHirsty/status/912988070487535616
