Catherine Tate and David Tennant are set to reprise their iconic roles in Doctor Who in honour of the anniversary next year, leading to enormous fan response.
A decade after both appearing in the hit British sci-fi drama Doctor Who, Catherine Tate, 52, and David Tennant, 51, are jumping in the Tardis once again.

The pair are set to film scenes together for the show's 60th anniversary next year, so, unfortunately, we're going to have to wait until then.
Catherine Tate first appeared as Donna Noble in a standalone Christmas episode entitled The Runaway Bride before going on a series regular and close companion of the time lord. She later left the show after the Doctor was forced to wipe her memory in order to save her life. It's arguably one of the less favoured exits of the franchise.
“They're back! And it looks impossible - first, we announce a new Doctor, and then an old Doctor, along with the wonderful Donna, what on earth is happening?" said returning showrunner Russell T Davies. "Maybe this is a missing story. Or a parallel world. Or a dream, or a trick, or a flashback. The only thing I can confirm is that it’s going to be spectacular, as two of our greatest stars reunite for the battle of a lifetime.”
Reacting to the news on Twitter, one fan wrote: "Screaming crying and throwing up rn."
"STOP IT STOP IT STOP IT IM SO FUCKING HAPPY THEY WERE SUCH A DUO," another bellowed.

Another said: "OH MY FUCKING GOD THIS IS NOT A DRILL THIS IS NOT A DRILL IM GOING TO EXPLODE."
It's a good day to be a Doctor Who fan because just last week the 14th Doctor was revealed as Sex Education's Ncuti Gatwa.
